TITLETOWN GATOR CLUB TOURED UF SHANDS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Last month (April) we had the unique opportunity to learn about how the University of Florida provides stellar healthcare for children. Our tours of UF’s nationally recognized pediatric hospital revealed how it is bringing the latest research and most innovative treatments to its young patients.

Club members witnessed the incredible thought and detail that was put into the rebuilding and reconfiguring of the floors within Shands Children's Hospital, to better serve the children and their families.

Heather Mears, Executive Director of Shands Children's Hospital Fundraising, did a wonderful job leading our tours. She stated that one goal is to never lose sight of letting children be children. And our Club’s annual Titletown Tots Toy Drive helps make that happen.
